Kitetag Form Factors: Cards, Stickers, Tokens, and Custom Tags
Reference guide to every Kitetag form factor available from Tagstand, including cards, stickers, tokens, DIY printable cards, and custom form factors for business use.
A Kitetag is an NFC chip packaged into a physical form. All form factors use the same pre-encoded platform link, so the choice is purely physical: how the tag is mounted, carried, or attached.

Custom branding and design
All plans include the option for custom design or branding on your Kitetags. The Plus plan and above also support custom IDs printed on each tag. The Professional plan adds serial numbers and printed QR codes alongside the NFC data.
See pricing plans for plan-specific customization features.
NFC plus QR codes
A Kitetag can carry both an NFC chip and a printed QR code. The QR code points to the same platform URL as the NFC tap, so the same Interaction runs in both cases. This is useful when:
- A user’s phone does not support NFC
- You want a visual indicator that a surface is tappable
- The tag is in a context where scanning is more natural than tapping
