The Kitetags dashboard is where you manage NFC tags. You organize tags into groups, define the data each tag holds, and control what happens on every tap. This section walks through each feature.

What you will find here

Kitetag Groups

Groups are containers that hold one or more Kitetags sharing the same data structure and interaction. Learn how to create groups, rename them, move tags between groups, and export data for bulk editing.

Kitetag Data Structures (KDS)

A Kitetag Data Structure defines the fields your tags carry — like a spreadsheet header row. Explore presets such as Contact Info and Product Info, or build a custom structure with text, date, email, and other field types.

Kitetag Interactions (KI)

A Kitetag Interaction defines what happens after a tap. Connect your data to an App — URL Redirect, vCard, Webhooks, Zapier, or Test Flight.

Interaction Builder

Build multi-step tap flows with the visual Interaction Builder. Covers step sequencing, WiFi credential sharing, and form collection that posts results to your webhook or email.

Managing tags

Follow a tag through its full lifecycle: Unclaimed, Claimed, Configured, Grounded, and Frozen. Learn how to claim tags, move them between groups, ground inactive tags, and understand what happens when billing issues freeze a tag.

CSV import and export

Bulk-manage tag data by exporting a group to CSV, editing in your favorite spreadsheet app, and reimporting. Ideal when you need to update dozens or hundreds of tags at once.

Account and billing

Manage your profile, update your password, and handle subscriptions. Includes the full pricing table, tag bundle purchasing, and upgrade, downgrade, or cancel flows.

Form factors

The physical Kitetag options: cards, stickers, tokens, DIY printable cards, and custom form factors including wristbands and magnets.

Organizations and user management

Add members to your Kitetags organization, assign roles and permissions, manage teams, and set up SSO on Enterprise plans.

Next steps

Start with Kitetag Groups to understand how tags are organized, then work through Data Structures and Interactions to see how all three concepts connect. If you are new to Kitetags, the getting started section covers the basics first.
